Mina Lou Welch-Vaughan, age 90, widow of David Vaughan, departed this life on Thursday evening, July 24, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mina was born and raised in Greenville, Kentucky where she graduated from high school, and was a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Greenville. She worked for many years as a teacher's aide at Ruddles Mill Elementary as well as Bourbon Central and enjoyed writing poetry and spending time with her family. Surviving is a daughter, Cathy Welch Greene; a son, Marvin (Teresa) Welch; three grandchildren, Ashleigh, Clinton, Sarah; one great grandchild, Ambrose; and two brothers, Ruben Stuart, Jr., and Louis (Georgetta) Stuart. A sister, Ruthella Stuart preceded her in death. The funeral service for Mina Lou Welch-Vaughan will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Garden. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until time for the service.
