Nekiter "Kina" Chenault was born November 15, 1960, to the late Elmore and Valerie Chenault Sr.

She was called to eternal rest Monday morning August 29, 2022 at Baptist Health Hospital.

Nekiter confessed a hope in Christ and was a member of Imani Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Willis Polk.

Nekiter graduated from Lafayette High School, and later attended business college that provided her many opportunities of employment in the medical field as a lab tech, retail and customer service.

She is an awesome cook and full of hospitality. From planning family reunions, shopping, traveling and cooking, she was loved by many. NaNa will be truly missed.
