Nellie Irene Jones was born July 25th, 1937 in Nicholasville, KY to the late James and Louise Lewis.

She was a dedicated CNA at the Saint Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY for 39 years.

She was a member of Marble Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Nellie made the peaceful transition on February 27th, 2021 to heaven to join her son, Frank Jones Jr., 6 brothers; James, Charles, Raymond, Robert Lee, JC and Roy Lewis, and 2 sisters: Bessie Russell and Mary Cokey.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 65 years, Frank Dudley Jones Sr., daughter, Jennifer Jones, brother William (Helen) Lewis, grandchildren, Janee, Stewart and Morgan Jones, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the ladies of the Eldercrafters. Visitation will begin at 10 AM March 4th at Marble Creek Missionary Baptist Church

Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens at 1:15pm on Thursday, March 5, 2021
