Noah Steven Johnson (62) born March 9, 1956 to Icem M. Johnson Sr. and Cora M. Johnson- Bradley. He was a graduate of Paris High School class of 1975, where he lettered in basketball, baseball, football. Upon graduation he worked for Bourbon Hardware, and then the city of Paris, where soon after he met the love of his life, Tamara Russell-Johnson. Noah and Tamara married June 28, 1980 and through that union where three kids Renardo (Jessica) Hawkins, Leon (Brittanie) Johnson, and LaTosha Johnson. Noah has 6 grandchildren Anyiah, Nikko, Breon, Kyran, Nylah, Arayna. After retiring from 3m, he became assistant coach for Paris High School Softball team and Caregiver for David and Susan Parrish up until time of illness. He is survived by 4 siblings Clemmie Minerva Johnson, Willetta Johnson, Icem (Phylis) Johnson Jr., Patricia Johnson. Preceded in death by his parents Cora Johnson-Bradley and Father Icem M. Johnson Sr. along, with his oldest sister Darlene Bearfield, nephews Eric and Patrick Johnson, Dwight Bearfield and niece LaTonya Johnson-Beard. Noah has a host of nieces and nephews along with their children whom he loved dearly. He was a family man, always opening his home up during the holidays or simply for Sunday dinner to make sure everyone was together, that was his way of checking up on everyone. He was a active member of The 7th Street Christian Church, Paris Ky. Along with being a self-made marksman he and very good friend Phillip Garrad hunted deer, rabbits, quail etc. He was a fisherman at heart, and die-hard Louisville cardinal fan. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday October 12, 2018 at the Central Baptist Church, 829 High St., Paris, KY by Rev. William Garr. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Marlon Johnson, Tyrell Howard, Jalil Beard, Eddie Myers, Nicholas Taylor, Frazier Oldham, Keion Crumbie, Ivan Rice and DeWayne Rice. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paris High School Class of 1975, Eugene "Boot" Young, Paris High School Softball Teams, Keith Taylor, Preston Johnson, Dave Davis, Keith Lewis, Darnell Hall, Leonard Parker.
