Her legacy began in Eubank, Kentucky, where she was born on December 7, 1939, to Clinton Smith and Gladys Carter Smith. In addition to her beloved parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Butch Smith and Janice Mankin. Norma owned and operated a daycare center for many years and was a faithful member of Anchor Baptist Church. She cherished her family, including her dear daughter, Vickie Lynn Martin; three grandchildren, Erik Scott Smith (Nicole), Casey Tyler Smith, and Shannon Rae Smith; six great-grandchildren, Bailey Smith, Alivia Smith, Cooper Owens, Zoe Valle, Leland Valle, and Asa Valle; and two sisters, Patricia Shephard (Richard) and Brenda Smith. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Milward – Man O' War, 1509 Trent Blvd., followed by a celebration of life service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens.
