Olan J. Storie, 89, husband of Shirley lee Slone Storie, passed away Friday October 18, 2019.

Born in Heaton, Nc, he was son of the late Hal and Earline Jones Storie. Olan was the owner and operator of Olan Storie Trucking Company and a member of Old Paris Road Church of God.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Vickie Denis McCray, Lexington,Ky, Steve (Marla) Johnson, Homosassa, Fl, Kaye (Danny) Wells, Waco, Ky, Everett J. Reffitt, Lexington, Ky, and Dianna (Bob) Hoffman, Macomb, Mi; Grand children Amanda (Patrick) Vanderpool, Melissa (Zackary) Jeffries, Greg Johnson, Wayne(April) Johnson, Jacob Storie, Saprina Storie, Leanna Conway, Miranda Toomey, Briana Reynolds, Travis Reynolds, Zachary Reynolds, Robert (Renae) Hoffman, and Rhonda (Derrek) Hoffman; Great grandchildren, Connor Vanderpool, Juliana Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Alicia Johnson, Lailen Justice, Unique Conway, Mystique Conway, Kalique Mosley, Maison Reynolds, Anna Hardin, Travis Reynolds Jr, Chase Owens, Joseph Reynolds, Payton Reynolds, Elijah Reynolds, Aria Reynolds, and Lillian, Robert, Jacob and Kayla Hoffman; Great great grandchild Kendall Reynolds; a sister Charlotte Taylor; and brother, Stanley Storie; Special mentions Stewart Hall and Whistle (Nannie) Hall .

He was preceded in death by two sons, William Charles Storie, Johnny Olan Storie and a daughter in law Francis Johnson.

Paul bearers include; Jacob Storie,Travis Reynolds, Zachary Reynolds, Robert Hoffman, Zackary Jeffries, and Patrick Vanderpool. Honorary Paul bearers; Bob Hoffman, Virgil Slone. Funeral services will be Thursday October 24 at 2:30 PM with visitation starting at 12:30 PM.

Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the UK Children's Hospital, or Bluegrass Hospice Care.
