IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela Louise
(Ransom) Reed
October 14, 1956 – October 4, 2024
Pamela Reed, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2024, at approximately 5:00 a.m. She was surrounded by love and warmth, just as she had surrounded her family throughout her life. Pam's heart was boundless—she cared deeply for everyone in her life and never hesitated to step in to help, whether with a warm meal, a kind word, or her unique and unforgettable sense of humor. Her laughter was contagious, and her wit could brighten even the darkest days.
Pamela was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Reed, her cherished grandson, Jamaun Ransom, her father, Samuel Ransom, and her brothers, Stanhope Ransom, Henry Ransom, and Jimmy Screetch, Ralph Black; stepson, Horatio Kemper, as well as many grandparents, aunts, and uncles who meant so much to her.
She leaves behind to carry on her legacy her devoted mother, Geraldine Ransom, her three sons, Shawn, Jeremy, and Jermaine (Danielle) Ransom; two stepsons, Tony and Jose Kemper and her treasured grandchildren: granddaughters Alexis, Mariah, Jaleah, Ashawnti and Kiera Ransom, and grandsons Jalen Ransom, Jakari Ransom, and Andrew Johnson-Miles, J'Shawn Ransom and Reed Ransom. Pam is also survived by her three siblings, Samuel Ransom Jr., Willene Ransom, and Richard Ransom, along with many nieces and nephews who adored her. Last but definitely not least a very special family friend Jessica Jenkins and who stayed by Pamela's side throughout her last days.
Pamela's family was her world, and she was theirs. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love, her laughter, and the countless memories she created will live on in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She was a pillar of strength, a source of joy, and above all, the heart of her family.
Her family invites all those who loved Pamela to join them in celebrating her life at 1:00 PM Friday October 11, 2024, at the Seventh Street Christian Church, 122 West Seventh St., Paris, KY by Rev.
