Pat K. Cook, born Jan. 24, 1935, 84, widow of James Lucien Cook, of Lexington, KY, passed away Dec. 29, 2019 after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Susan Kirkland, her sons, William Michael and James Daniel Hash; a brother, William Richard Kirkland; a sister, Gay Hastings, and also two very special sons-in-law, Kenny Yarber and Brad Muncy.

She is survived by four daughters, Brenda Hurst, Theresa Jones, Sharon Muncy, and Jamie Yarber. She is also survived by two brothers, Barry Kirkland, Lexington, KY and Ernest Kirkland, Clermont, FL; a sister, Cathy Reynolds, Eminence, KY; nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mom, "Mopp", grandmother, aunt and sister. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Fri., Jan 3, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens in Bourbon County, KY. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thurs., Jan 2 at the funeral home.
