Patty Sue Sexton Martin, 85, widow of the late Rev. Drew Martin, died Monday April 24, 2023 at the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY.

She was born in Lackey, KY to the late Lester and Pearl Kerr Sexton. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church, Paris, KY. Patty loved to sew, read and tend to her flower garden in her spare time.

She is survived by four children, Brenda (Gary) Cook, Tracey (Amber) Martin, Michael Martin and Melinda Martin; seven grandchildren, Wesley (Tabitha) Cook, Drew A. Martin, Cory Martin, Allenea Martin, Tyler Bryant, Sierra Martin and Jaxon Dale Martin; five great grandchildren, Lily, Camden, Kole, Haisley and Olivia; one sister, Barbara (David) Derossett; special friends, Ina Wallace, Mabel Wells and Betty Jo Kidd and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Martin; two brothers, Billy Sexton and Dennis Sexton and four sisters, Bertha, Shirley, Peggy and Betty.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday April 26, 2023 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Jason Patrick. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Wednesday April 26, 2023 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
