Peggy Sue Mattingly, 80, of Lexington passed away on February 11, 2023. She was born November 17, 1942 in Martin, KY, to the late Edgel and Marie Hayes.

She is survived by her children, Robert Keith Mattingly, Pam Mattingly (Jeffrey Luce), and Ronald Wayne Mattingly; grandchildren, Jenna Mattingly, Robert Kristopher Mattingly, Meredith Holt, Christine Batchelder, and Jeffrey Luce; Siblings, Dennis Hayes, and June Hayes.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ronald Mattingly; and siblings, Larry Hayes, Darrell Hayes, Charles Hayes, Valetta Hayes, Pauline Wilson, Gwendolyn Hayes, Linda Mullins, Emogene Lafferty, and Juanita Layell.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Friday, February 17, 2023, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Main Street with burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be prior from 12-2PM Friday at the Funeral home.
