Raymond Alan McGuire, 64, husband of Jacqueline "Jackie" Cornelison McGuire, died Sunday, March 10, 2019 at his home in Lexington, KY.

A native of Cynthiana, KY, he was the son of the late Melvin Lee McGuire and Margaret Kersey McGuire. He was a former truck driver for Affiliated Foods and crane operator for Transload Services. He was a member of the Highlands Baptist Church in Lexington and a member of the Teamsters Local # 651 for 10 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Brandon (Amanda) McGuire, Brittany McGuire Goodwin and Kyle Wade McGuire; nine grandchildren, Micah McGuire, Tatum McGuire, Matthias McGuire, Fynton Goodwin, Eliana McGuire, Elissa McGuire, Zyanna Goodwin, Emilia McGuire and Sebastian Merano; six siblings, Wanda (Bobby) Holland, Jean (Wilbur) Simpson, Ronnie (Dorothy) McGuire, Connie (Howard) Coleman; Darla Myers; Margaret (Steve) Fite and in laws Bob and Barbara Cornelison.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Fletcher, one brother, Melvin Lee McGuire, Jr. and a brother-in-law, Dr. John "Buzzy" Myers.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Evergreen Memory Gardens, 5364 Lexington Road, Paris, KY by Dwayne Walker. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

There will be a memorial service at 7:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 1008 Delaware Ave., Lexington, KY.
