Richard Raymond Doty, 82, of Lexington, husband of Charlotte W. Doty, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Baptist Health Lexington.

Born in Lexington, he was the son of the late Herman R. Doty and Norma McGuire.

He was retired from Southern Belle Dairies, also had worked for Bluegrass Coca Cola Company and he was a member of Eastland Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister, Jeannine Doty.

Survivors are his wife, Charlotte; aunt, Juanita Popham; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 12:30 pm Monday, September 18, 2023 at Kerr Brothers – 3421 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY. Visitation will be from 10:30 – 12:30 Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Michael Stephens, Austin Stephens, Dennis Stephens, Joshua Stephens, Owen Hibbard and Robert Walters. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, 5364 Lexington Road, Lexington, KY.
