Obituary

Robert Frederick McDaniel, 77, husband of Anita LaVerne Roberts McDaniel for 47 years, died Sunday November 11, 2018 at the Bourbon Community Hospital.

A native of Maysville, KY, he was the son of the late Vernie and Mary Jane Pugh McDaniel. He was a retired engineer with IBM, a former Wal-Mart sporting goods employee, a member of Trinity Church of God and a United States Army Veteran where he reached the rank of Sargent and was a sharpshooter. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), was an avid gun enthusiast, attending many gun shows and loved to go to the gun range and shoot.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Lana (Tommy) Sargent and Paula Davis; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Burden, Jessica Clark, Landon Sargent, Jeff Davis, Jason Davis and John Davis; seven great grandchildren; one brother, William Grant (Phyllis) Boling; one sister, Karen Nickell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one son, Jeff Davis and two brothers, David Joseph Boling and James Milton Boling.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday November 15, 2018 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. William Singleton. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday November 15, 2018 until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Davis, Brandon Isaac, Tommy Sargent, Steve Roe, Bob Gannon and Josh Meredith.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
