Obituary

Mrs. Roberta Cooper Gay went into eternal rest, Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Mrs. Gay, the widow of Mr. Clark D. Gay, was born June 26, 1918, in Clay City, KY, to the late Courtney and Della Cooper. The oldest of twelve children, she was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Along with her sisters of Dayton, OH, in Paris, she leaves to mourn, Mrs. Catherine (James) Brooks, Mrs. Vicki (James) Clark, Sr., Mr. Derek (Krystal) Brooks, Mr. Terence (Jennifer) Brooks and a host of great, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday November 23, 2018 at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1117 High St., Paris, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the church.

Pallbearers will be the men of Saint Paul United Methodist Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terrence Brooks, Derek Brooks, James Clark, Jr., Jamaun Clark, McClellen Robinson, William Emerson, Jr., Milton Emerson and Thomas Allen, Sr. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
