Russell F. James Arnold, 85, died Saturday January 25, 2020 at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Hospice Care Center, Lexington, KY. A native of Flemingsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Osweld and Amanda Langford James. He was an over the road trucker and a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by seven children, Charlotte Manning, Terry Ritchie, Tony (Elizabeth) James, Russanna (J.T.) Taylor, Pam (Ricardo) Edmonds, Melissa (Kyle Loss) Jefferson and Donavan Jefferson; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; lifelong partner, Pam Jefferson; one sister, Gertie Mae Henry and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Jeff Arnold and Steven James; one brother, Douglas James and one sister, Norma Balling.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday February 1, 2020 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Chester Palmer. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Saturday February 1, 2020 until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ricardo Edmonds, Kyle Loss, Donavan Jefferson, Josh Reynolds, Damien Hall and Tony James. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert O'Neal, Gary Burke, Donald Wallingford, Duane Reed and David Reed.
