Ruth Tolson, 87, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on January 18, 1932; daughter of the late John Robert and Elizabeth Josephine Donahue Warren. She was a member of Eden Baptist Church. Ruth enjoyed attending church. Throughout her childhood her best friend was her sister. As a teenager she taught herself how to sew; designing, sewing, and wearing her first dress she ever made. Ruth loved shopping at Kmart.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Westphal; three sons, Michael Holdcraft & (Yanira), David Holdcraft & (Shirley), and Todd Curtis & (Kelly); two sisters, Hermie Biddle, and Martha Webster; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 28, 2019 at Evergreen Memory Gardens, 5364 Lexington Rd, Lexington, KY 40511, where burial shall follow.
