Sandy Gail
Stevenson
March 3, 1953 – June 10, 2026
Sandy Gail Stevenson was born on March 3, 1953, to the late Dorothy Green and Henry Green.
Sandy worked at Visumatic before becoming a homemaker. She was married to the late
Emanuel Stevenson for over 30 years. She was a woman of faith who believed in the promise of
Jehovah’s future blessings and found joy in sharing her faith with others. She loved reading her
Bible, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoying meals at her favorite
Chinese restaurants.
Sandy was the best mother anyone could ask for. She had a generous heart, was always willing
to help others, and never met a stranger. She deeply loved and protected her four daughters:
the late Kimberly McCue, Charmaine Etienne, Emanda Christopher, and April Edmonds.
She also cherished her eight grandchildren: Phylesha McDowell, Kanisha Stevenson, Aunshany
Willson, K’Shandra McCue, Daneysha Christopher, Deasumar Etienne, Daekwon Christopher,
and Emanuel Brown-Stevenson. Sandy was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren, whom
she loved dearly.
Sandy was loving, caring, and outspoken. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and she
had a special gift for drawing. Her warmth, strength, and spirit touched the lives of many.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, the late Kimberly McCue, Charmaine Etienne,
Emanda (David) Christopher, and April (George) Edmonds; her grandchildren and great-
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Sandy will truly be missed and will forever be held dear in our hearts. We will cherish the
beautiful memories we shared with her. We love you, our sweet mother, Sandy Gail Stevenson.
