Sarah Lee Ewing, of Lexington, passed away peacefully at her residence on Feb. 6, 2019. Born in Moorefield, KY, she was the daughter of the late Agnes K. Booker.

Ms. Ewing was a graduate of the old Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and a member of Consolidated Baptist Church. She retired from St. Joseph Hospital after 42 years of service.

She is survived by two daughters, Shanaka (Michael) Winters and Lashawn Ewing; two grandchildren, Justin and Noah; one sister, Michelle Booker-Leach; two nieces, Courtney and Mikayla; and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Booker and several aunts and uncles.

Entombment will be at 2:30pm , Saturday, February 9, 2019. . Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. is in charge of arrangements.
