Stanley B. Johnson of West Liberty, Kentucky, widower of the late Betty Ruth Patton Johnson, departed this life Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 8 days.

He was a son of the late Winford Johnson and Fern Tester Johnson, born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on June 26, 1941. He was a mechanic by trade.

He is survived by one son, Stanley Wayne Johnson (Carla) of Maryville, Tennessee; one daughter, Sherry Johnson Adkins (Lowell) of West Liberty, Kentucky; one brother, Hebert Havens of West Liberty, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Teresa Watts (Jeremy) and Dustin Dillingham; and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie Watts and Madelyn Watts.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Patton Johnson; his parents, Winford Johnson and Fern Tester Johnson; one brother, E.T. Robinson; and one sister, Lou Aileen Davis. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Serving as pallbearers; Dustin Dillingham, Jeremy Watts, Lowell Adkins, and Donnie Davis.
