It is with heartfelt sorrow and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Teresa Harris, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world on July 16, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on December 17, 1964, in the close-knit town of Owenton, Kentucky, Teresa was the pride and joy of her parents, Fred and Wilma Harris, who preceded her in death, along with her brother, Sidney Harris.

Teresa's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the profound impact of familial bonds. She was raised in a home filled with laughter and love, values she carried with her throughout her life. A proud graduate of Owenton High School, Teresa maintained lifelong friendships and was known for kindness and generous spirit.

Teresa is survived by her devoted siblings, Freda Ford (Peter), Michael Harris (Brenda), Pat Harris, and Kenny Harris. She was a doting aunt to her many nieces and nephews, each of whom she loved as her own.

To honor and celebrate Teresa's remarkable life, a service will be held on July 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Smith & Smith Funeral Home, located at 340 East Third Street. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in the remembrance of a life well-lived, full of love and laughter.
