Terry Lynn Pridemore Lawson, wife of Lorne Lawson, departed this life on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, after an extended illness,
Hhaving attained the age of 56. She was born in Paris, Kentucky on March 2, 1963, the daughter of the late Phillip Jacoby Pridemore and Anna Belle Planck Pridemore, who survives.
She was a 1981 graduate of Bourbon County High School and was retired. She had worked as a Ward Clerk Supervisor with the V.A. Medical Center and receptionist at the Paris-Bourbon County YMCA. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a great nephew, Elliott Windley. In addition to her husband and mother, Terry is survived by her son, Tyler Colby Lawson (Jessie) and a grandson, Trenton Barker. Also surviving are her sisters, Linda Cassity (Kenneth), Judy Blair (Mark), Lori Pridemore,; nieces and nephews, Ryan Cassity, Ashleigh Windley (Cameron), Evan Cassity, Austin Combs, Kendall Cassity, Nicholas Pridemore, Lexi Blair, Travis Blair; a special aunt, Betty Terry; two aunts Frances Hatton and Pearl Sosby; an uncle, Howard "Bo" Pridemore; and her special cat, Sophie. The funeral service for Terry Lynn Pridemore Lawson will be on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Sames officiating.
Entombment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with casket bearers being Doug Planck, Mark Blair, Evan Cassity, Ryan Cassity, Nicholas Pridemore, and Austin Combs. Honorary bearers are Ashleigh Windley, Kendall Cassity, Kenneth Cassity, Lexi Blair, Travis Blair, James House, Michael Leito, and Don Wagoner.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. The family wishes to express a special appreciation to the staff of DaVita Dialysis Center and all of Terry's caregivers.
