Thelma Mitchell, 73, was the daughter of the late William and Irene Mitchell. She was born in Lexington, February 20, 1953 and Saturday August 8, 2026, with her son by her side the Lord called her to be with Jesus. Thelma was a 1972 graduate of Lafayette High School and was employed by Quest Laboratory and Kaba Mas. She was preceded in death by a son, Wentzel Mitchell, five sisters, Lucille Mitchell, Henrietta (Mitchell) Martin, Minnie Craig, Margaret Mitchell and Sallie (Mitchell) Snoddy. Three brothers, James Mitchell, William Carl Mitchell and Charles Craig. An aunt, Minnie Smith and Two special nieces, Mary Ely and Beverly Craig. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Rico Mitchell, a brother, Ronald Mitchell, sister-in-love, Deborah Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
