Thomas Leslie "Tommy" Highland, 71, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington, KY. A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late James Leslie Highland and Christine Mattox Highland. He was a member of the Trinity Church of God. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Linda (Daryl) McFarland and Peggy (Ricky) Stanfield; one brother, Billy Clay (Shirley) Highland; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, Jackie Riggs, Doug Stigall, Sammy Thomas and Carl Yazell. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Fraley Highland and a sister, JoAnn Highland. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Billy Singleton. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday, March 12, 2018 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Shawn Highland, Robert McFarland, Jarred Johnson, Anthony McFarland, Ricky Stanfield and Peggy Stanfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Daryl McFarland and his nieces and nephews.
