Thomas D. Million, Sr., age 94, passed away on June 29, 2026, in Paris, Kentucky. He was born on January 11, 1932, in Paris, Kentucky, and lived a long life marked by devotion to family, service to his country, and steady kindness to those who knew him.
He was a United States Marine veteran and carried the values of duty, discipline, and loyalty throughout his life. Thomas retired from Dura-Weaver Corporation in Paris, Kentucky, after many years of dedicated work, and he also worked at the Bluegrass Army Depot. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, where he found fellowship and strength in his faith.
Thomas was known as a kind and friendly man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He liked working on cars, mowing lawns, and tending to old clocks, and he took great pride in the care and attention he gave to the things he loved. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren and took great joy in spending time with his family. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of steadiness to those around him.
He is survived by his daughter, Kay and Lonnie Buckler; two step-daughters, Nancy and Clinton Allie and Kristy and Jeff Curtis; nine grandchildren, Deana and Steven Osborne, Lonnie Thomas “T-Bird” and Bridget Buckler, Jack Curtis, Ryan Denny, Anastasia and Josh Johnson, Teresa Sargent, Heather and Chuck Rankin, Brian Allie, and Kim Eitniear; six great-grandchildren, Taylor and Logan Gross, Jamie and Brent Crump Buckler, Curtis and Megan Osborne, Jordan (Emily) Buckler, Nicole and Alisa Osborne, and Hannah Buckler; three great-great-grandchildren, Astrid Willow Crump, Seraphina Johnson, and Lucy Johnson; one brother, Bobby and Claire Million; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pamela Saylor; his parents, Frank and Lucille Stewart Million; his son, Thomas “Tommy” Million, Jr.; three brothers, Logan Million, Frank Million, and Mokie Million; and one sister, Betty Wallingford.
Thomas D. Million, Sr. will be remembered with love for his gentle spirit, his hardworking nature, and the deep devotion he showed to his family. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and in the family who will continue to honor his memory.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday July 2, 2026, by Bro. George Clifton at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Thursday July 2, 2026, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
