Walter L. Garth, Jr. was born on June 23rd, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky to Walter L. Garth, Sr. and Mary R. Garth.

Walter graduated from Bryan Station High School in 1979. Walter also graduated from Barber College and was a licensed barber.

Walter was a very committed faith-based individual to his local assembly. Walter was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for over 40 year. Walter faithfully served in the role of Deacon and was honored to fulfill the duties that were bestowed upon him at Shiloh Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky.

Walter was retired from Urban County Government where he worked in the maintenance area for 30 plus years.

Walter was preceded in death by his father, Walter L. Garth, Sr. and mother, Mary R. Garth.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories, one brother, Frederick K. Garth (Donna); two nieces, Dr. La Tarsha M. Miller (Harry) of North Canton, Ohio; Dr. Chanel Garth of Delaware, Ohio; one great nephew, Raphael J. Miller of North Canton, Ohio and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Walter will truly be missed but never forgotten. His kindness and love will forever be imprinted upon the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
