Obituary

William Edward "Billy" Marks, 75, husband of Anna Florine Grigsby Marks, died Sunday July 29, 2018 at the Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Paris, KY. A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Edward and Stella Mae Johnson Marks. He was a retired employee of the City of Paris and Ken's New Market and a member of Zion Baptist Church, Paris, KY. In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Rhonda (Terry) Allen and James Manzell (Angela Bates) Robinson; seven grandchildren, Anchalee Steele, Keyyoka Robinson, Dajuan Lewis, Myah Allen, Keyiyah Wells, Zjahlen Griggs, Matthew (Christina) Hollander and Hezekiah Lewis; five great grandchildren, Drayton Lewis, Harper Hollander, Hudson Hollander, Reagan Steele and John Steele, Jr.; one brother, Clyde (Rosetta) Marks, Sr.,; four sister-in-laws, Mae Roberts, Lillian Crooks, Carolyn Higgins and Rosetta Marks; two brother-in-laws, Eugene Grigsby and George Grigsby and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan William Allen and one sister, Gwendolyn Poole. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday August 2, 2018 at the 1st Christian Church, 911 High St., Paris, KY by Rev. Dr. Morgan Gilkey. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday August 2, 2018 until the hour of service at the church. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
