Obituary

Yetta Robinson Jackson, 78, wife of William K. Jackson, died Friday June 1, 2018 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.

A native of Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Donald Robinson and the late Hazel Smith. She was a retired administrative assistant at the VA Hospital and the Bluegrass Army Depot and was a member of the Pleasant Green Baptist Church, Lexington, KY.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Sherry Jackson; one grandson, Brian (Jessica) Jackson; cousin, Ronald (Vivian) Smith; her fur baby, Koko and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard Smith and Raymond Robinson and one aunt, Ethel Smith. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Tuesday June 5, 2018 at the Pleasant Green Baptist Church, 540 West Maxwell St., Lexington, KY 40508 by Rev. Thomas H. Peoples.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Tuesday June 5, 2018 until the hour of service at the church.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
