Ann Margaret Plowman peacefully passed away on April 9th, 2024, at the age of 88, in Richmond, Kentucky. She was born on July 18th, 1935, in Winchester, Kentucky, to proud parents Anna and Houston Brinegar.
Ann's life was a testament to her enduring kindness and the joy she found in the simplest of pleasures, like weaving stories of the past through genealogy, creating intricate patterns through knitting, and discovering new places during her travels. She shared these passions and her limitless love with those fortunate enough to be part of her world. Her journey was filled with the laughter and love of a large family.
Ann is lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 73 years, Tracy Plowman. Together, they created a legacy that spans generations. She lives on in the hearts of her daughters, Angie Mitchuson (Bill), Sharon Gilliam (Steve), Vickie Gayheart (Billy), and Julia Plowman; her sons, Jimmie Plowman (Scarlett), and Ricky Plowman (Cindy); her brother Donnie (Rita); her cherished 22 grandchildren; as well as the numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who will continue to be inspired by her memory.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Houston Brinegar; her sons, Tracy Jr. and Johnny; her brothers Houston, Jr., Sonny, and Ronnie; her sisters Fanny, Louise, and Ida; and her grandson Tyler Gilliam.
A funeral service will be held for Ann on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 1 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Main Street. Visitation will be on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Evergreen Memory Gardens.
