Arthur Dennison Jones

Arthur Dennison Jones, 101, widower of Lucille Botts Jones, died Saturday, October 30, 2021at the Johnson Mathers Nursing Home, Carlisle, KY.
A native of Fleming County, KY, he was the son of the late Arthur Miller Jones and Daisy Bush Jones. He was a farmer, having retired from The Redmon Farm on Ardery Road raising tobacco. He was a member of the Greater First Baptist Church in Sharpsburg, KY.
He is survived by four children, Betty Mae Black, Carl “Sugar Bear” Jones, James Earl Jones and Virgil Douglas Jones; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter in law, Judy Jones and many other relatives.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four children, Gene Kelly Jones, Sr., Roger Dean Jones, Raymond Lawrence Jones, Sr. and Charles Monroe Jones, Sr.; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Aaron Crumbie. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service Saturday, November 6th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Jones, Jr., Gene Kelly Jones, Jr., Marlon Lamont Jones, Ja’non LaQuist Jones, Cody Jones and Bill Conner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Black, Darnell Hall, Cordell Jones, Henry Howard, Ryan Farris, John Trumbo and Derrick Jones.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
