Carolyn June Barbee Roach Overly, 82, widow of the late Edgar Kenneth Roach and the late Bobby Overly; died Saturday August 6, 2022 in Paris, KY.
She was born in Myers, KY to the late Oney and Lorena Hudson Barbee. She was a homemaker and loved her flower garden, fishing and baking. Carolyn loved spending time with her family and was a member of the River of Life Ministries.
She was survived by two children, Steven Kenneth (Christy) Roach and Theresa Edgington; five grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Whalen, Randall Roach, Steven Kenneth (Rebecca) Roach II, Jason (Amanda) Roach and Chantal Roach; nine great grandchildren, Shawn Tobin, Whitney (Timothy) Watts, Ryan Tobin, Timothy Whalen, Sierra Davis, Destiny Roach, Hayden Roach, Ashton Roach and Jayden Roach; six great great grandchildren, Aliyah, Elijah, Mathaus, Alexis, Adrian and Naomi Watts; one brother, Tony Barbee; three sisters, Louise (Ronnie) Powell, Sue (Mark) Terrell and Francis (Paul) Fryman; special honorary family member, Sandra Johnson and family and several nieces, nephews all of which she held in a special place in her heart. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Lee Roach; two grandchildren, Jordan Ray McIntyre and Riley Watts; two brothers, Paul Barbee and Noble Barbee and two sisters, Darlene Ritchie and Rosemary Lucas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Wednesday August 10, 2022 at the River of Life Ministries, 616 Clintonville Rd. Paris, KY by Pastor Krista Hampton and Pastor Dennis Peace. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday August 9, 2022 at the church.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Tobin, Ryan Tobin, Brian Whalen, Randall Roach, Gary Barbee and Timothy Watts.
