Deloise (Jackson) Dodge

Deloise Jackson Dodge, 77, wife of Reuben Dodge for 57 ½ years, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday June 30, 2020.

A native of Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Jackson and the late Rebecca Hawkins Hughes.

She was retired from Eastern State Hospital, Bourbon General Hospital and the old TB Hospital. She was a longtime member of Zion Baptist. She served as usher and served on many committees, including being a representative on the Consolidated Baptist Usher Board. Deloise was a 1961 graduate of the Paris Western High School.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Reba Dodge Blanton and Sheila Dodge (Tyron, Sr.) Wilson; four grandchildren, Tyron Wilson, Jr., Alexandria Wilson, Tyler Wilson and Dionne (Willie, Sr.) Williams; one sister, Hestella Hill and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Hughes and Wesley Rankin and one sister, Marthelma Hughes.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday July 11, 2020 at the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY by Rev. Aaron Crumbie. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday July 10, 2020 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K St., NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037.
