Deloris Jean Howard

Deloris Jean Howard, 87, widow of the late Henry Thomas Howard, went to her eternal home in Heaven on Wednesday November 24, 2021. She passed away at home with her family by her side.
She was born in Nicholas County, KY to the late Eugene Gaunce and Ethel Sosby. She was a retired employee of Hansley Mills as a floor supervisor. Deloris was a devoted and loving Wife, Sister, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Great-great-grandmother and Friend. Deloris attended Central Baptist Church in Paris.
She is survived by two children, Donna Honican and Timmy (Fran) Howard; four grandchildren, Thomas Howard, AJ (Courtney) Honican, Quentin (Andrea) Honican and Tony Honican; two brothers, Frank (Peggy) Cartmill and James Cartmill; seven Great-grandchildren Matthew (Brie) Honican, Tim (Madison Sebastian) Honican, Vincent Honican, Brantley Howard, Oaklynn Howard, Connor Honican, Reid Honican; one Great-great grandchild Baylor Honican. She is also survived by a special niece Dana Wilson; nephew Allen (Wilma) DeAtley and a host of additional nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son in law, George L. ‘Junie’ Honican Jr; a brother Roy Gaunce and nephew Darrell Cartmill.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Bill Bales. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Honican, Tim Honican, Thomas Howard, Quentin Honican, Vincent Honican, AJ Honican and Tony Honican.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Brantley Howard, Oaklynn Howard, Courtney Honican, Reid Honican, Connor Honican, Brie Honican, Baylor Honican, Allen and Wilma DeAtley, Charlie DeAtley, Tom Burke, Stevie Roe, Tommy Sargent.
