Dorothy M. Parker

Dorothy Mae Parker, 88, of Lexington KY, widow of Armond S. (K) Parker passed away on August 29, 2023. Dorothy was born on April, 26, 1935, to the late William “Willie” James Hendricks and Mary “Nannie” Emma Goins.

Aside from her mother and father, Dorothy is preceded in death by her brother, Harold ‘Shorty” Hendricks; and her sister, Louise Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, William “Billy” K. Parker, and Allen Ray Parker; her grandchildren, William Nathan “Billy” Parker (Lerin), Stephen Alan Parker (Sarah), Jessica Parker Mueller (Cameron), and Leslie Parker Schlumpf (Stephen); her eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; friend and neighbor, Kay Foster; and coworker at the bowling alley, Milley.

A funeral service will be held at Kerr Brothers on Main Street on Wed., Sept. 6, 2023, at 12:00PM. Visitation will be the same day from 10AM until the service. Burial will follow the services at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Paris, KY.
