100 Years, three months, 12 days of a life filled with grace, love, respect and generosity. She was born “in Glo, at the head of Miller’s Creek, Van Lear, Ky.” She died in her sleep at home in Powersite, MO.
Studied Food/Restaurant Management through Pike Co., KY Extension Services. Worked in food management and training for 15 years, and in retail sales and management for 15 years.
She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church; Worthy Matron, Worthy Grand Matron of the Order of Eastern Star; poll worker at all elections held in Jessamine Co., KY for 20 years.
She was a loving, generous and devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt and friend to all ages and diversities; an animal lover; a rose and vegetable gardener; best cook in the world; designed and created clothing, dolls, gifts for family and friends.
She is survived by sister, Betty Ramsey, son, Fritz (Suzanne) Bodenheimer, daughter Scarlett (Michael Brewer) Cameron; granddaughters, Tara (Mac) Winker; Suzy (Jan Lineberry) Cameron; Leigh Bodenheimer, Sarah Brewer, Carrie Smith. Great-grandchildren, Jolie (Trae) Hughes, Matthew Browning, Marret Lineberry, Sam Browning, Kalen Steffensen. Great-great-grandson, Teddy Hughes, numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents Mike and Louise Grose; husband Shirley Bodenheimer, seven brothers, Jake, Zachary, William, James, Urias, Durwood and Lacey. and two sisters, Zelphia (Zip), and Mary.

Service will be Saturday, September 4, 2021, 12:30 p.m., at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY. After service, Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 5364 Lexington Road, Lexington, KY. A reception will be held after Interment, and details will be furnished at service.
