Frank Clay Happy , Sr.

Frank Clay Happy, Sr., 85 widower of the late Dolores Nichols Happy, died Wednesday January 11, 2023 at the Pine Meadows Health Care, Lexington, KY.

He was born in Centerville, KY to the late Harvey and Clara Nutter Happy.

Frank was a retired IBM employee, Graduate of Western High School, a United States Army veteran, member of Jacksonville Baptist Church and attended Veaches Chapel CME.

He is survived by two children, Frank Clay Happy, Jr. and Clara Michelle “Missy” Happy; four grandchildren, Marquita Hampton, Kani (Kevin) McGee, Joseph Happy and Elias Webb; one great grandchild Kyleigh Hampton; three brothers, Charles (Sarah) Happy, James Happy and Kenneth (Doris) Happy; one sister, Loretta (Howard) Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph “Joey” Happy, one brother, Gary Happy and one sister, Helen Happy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday January 21, 2023 at the Central Baptist Church, 829 High St., Paris, KY by Rev. Archie Johnson. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Saturday January 21, 2023 until the hour of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Damon Griggs, Lawrence Warfield, Kenneth Happy, Jr., Phillip Jones, Steve Murray, Chase Nichols and Camron Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Fields and nephews.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
