Obituary

Girthon Jean Adams, 90, wife of the late Willis Adams, passed away on April 10, 2023.  She was born in Knox County, Kentucky on August 20, 1932 to her parents John and Arminda Ritchie Combs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Robert Ritchie, Johnny Ritchie, Sammy Ritchie, and Mary Lovin; and her siblings, Roxie Burge, Ethel Lane, and Fred Combs.   

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Arminda Turner and her husband Ernest Turner, Larry Adams, and Karen Burdine and her husband Kevin Burdine; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and her sister, Norma Ritchie.    

She was a member of Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Lexington on Maryland Avenue.  She enjoyed going to church, reading her Bible and listening to Christian music.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family and holding her grand babies.
