Harry C. Harp

Harry Clay Harp, 82, husband of Judy Sexton Harp for 39 years, died Monday December 13, 2021 at his home in Paris, KY.
He was born in Bourbon County, KY to the late Harry and Carrie Mae Florence Harp. Harry retired from Claiborne Farms after 52 years of service but still went back in the summers to help out. He was baptized at the Centerville United Methodist Church and later attended the First Baptist Church, Paris, KY. His hobbies included playing cards, watching old western movies and raising and selling rabbits.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four daughters, Martha Anne (Tim) Buchanan, Monica Clay Harp Jones, Russanna (J.T.) Taylor and Tonya (Jeff) Overstreet; nine grandchildren, Leslie Marie (Chris) Martin, Joshua Clay Charles (Kaitlin) Jones, Taylor Anne (Jacob) Bowling, Brittany (James) Wade, Alicia Arnold, Madison Arnold, Jaycee Arnold, Kailey Overstreet and Matt Taylor; eight great grandchildren, Landon Martin, Easton Martin, Kyla Ann Jones, Jase Harold Gene Jones, Pierson Wade, Roman Martinez, Leighton Wade and Lennon Taylor; one sister, Linda (Dave) Rice and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Roy Arnold and eight siblings, Pete Harp, Pauline Taylor, Ollie Jean Roe, Ellen McClain, Helen Arnold, Larry Ray Harp, Jim Harp and Wanda Kates.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday December 17, 2021 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Steve Smith. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Friday December 17, 2021 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be J.T. Taylor, Jeff Overstreet, Matt Taylor, Joshua Jones, James Wade and Jack Lenz.
