Hazel Crooks Brown

Hazel Crooks Brown, 88, widow of Julian E. Brown, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Paris, KY.
A native of Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late Dawson and Elizabeth Page Crooks. She was a retired Nursing Assistant at Eastern State Hospital, Lexington, KY and devoted her life to Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Sheryl (Calvin) Fields, Bobbi Clark (George) Woodie; three sons, Robert (Terry) Johnson, William Brown and Dawson Johnson; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; four sisters, Elizabeth Duncan, Patricia Crooks, Brenda Hart, and Shirley Crooks; a sister in law, Marie Crooks and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dawson Crooks and Grant Crooks; five sisters, Frances Jones, Verline Crooks, Fanny Crooks, Lou Crooks, Mary Johnson and one brother in law, Jay Jones.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, October 25, 2021at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Dr. Robert Strode. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Monday, October 25th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Keith Black, Byron Dansby, David Goines and Ashley Johnson.
