Je’Kobi Marshaun Wells, 21, loving son of William Wells and Gina and Kevin Willis, died Monday December 21, 2020 at the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY.
He was born in Lexington, KY and was a member of the Prodigal’s House. He was a member of the Paris High School boys basketball team that won the 40th district 3 times in a row and also the All A Classic. Je’Kobi also loved playing football and running track.
In addition to his parents, he was also survived by one brother, Tevin Willis; two sisters, Keyiyah Wells and Nautica Myers; Grandparents, Kathleen Stout, Gene Watkins and Orville Nutter; great grandmother, Margaret Nichols; three uncles, Izzah Stout, Bryant Holman and Charles Nichols; four aunts, Whitney Richardson, Myia Stout, Renee Watkins and Marsha Nichols and a host of other aunts and uncles; The Fab Five, Dontez Myers, Tayjin Cunningham, Ryan Davis and Jacquez Dumphord and a host of other cousins, close family and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Diane Wells; great grandparents, Mary Ayers, Bert Nichols and Ray Watkins, Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Paris High School Gymnasium on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Dr. Morgan Gilkey and Rev. Aaron Crumbie. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday December 28, 2020 at the Paris High School Gymnasium.
Pallbearers will be Dontez Myers, Tayjin Cunningham, Ryan Davis, Jacquez Dumphord, Jarrin Bishop, Davion Griggs and Trey Stout.Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus Ashford, David Griggs, Charles Nichols, Juan Dumphord, Eric Johnson, James Clark, Jr., Kobe Garrard, Wan Dumphord, Wayne Dumphord and Izzah Stout.
The arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
