Jesse Robert Cummins son of the late Stanley Lee and Bettie Lou Hodge Cummins was born on March 21, 1964 in Lexington Kentucky and passed into his eternal rest April 17, 2024, After graduation from Bryan Station high school in 1982.
Jesse attended Morehead State University, always a hard worker. He was employed for many years by High Street parking, Thorntons, Good Samaritan Hospital, Fayette County Detention Center and Walmart, often times working two jobs to provide for his family whom he loved greatly.
He was member of Main Street Baptist Church & served for a time with the audio visual team.
He was preceded in death by his mother & father, a brother Stanley "Rail" Cummins Jr, and a sister Diana Lynn Cummins.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, who provided much loving care in his failing health, Jessika Cummins of Chicago IL, Evan (Rayonna) Cummins of Lexington KY; their mother, Angie Clemons Cummins; A new grandbaby, Elaina & her siblings Jaedyn, Jewel & Jazel; Sisters Mary Margaret Randolph of Pittsburgh PA, Regina (Michael) Conner of Lexington KY; Aunts Mabel & Delores, 1 Uncle Tommy; Nieces Crystal & Jasmine; Nephews Derrick, Demetrius, Marcus, Roman, Jemiah, along with a host of cousins, friends, co-workers & extended family. A quiet, easy going man, who loved to laugh, Jesse enjoyed his family, his food & his football. After 60 years of life, the world's weary troubles are past.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 1:45pm in the Evergreen Memory Gardens Garden of Everlasting Life. Smith and Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
