Joann Robinson Hatcher, age 79 of Lexington, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born October 24, 1941 in Lexington, the daughter of the late Perry and Mary Davis Robinson. Joann was retired from the Kentucky Horse Park. She was a very generous and kind hearted woman who loved to read and shop. Joann loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She is survived by: a son, Anthony Smith of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Romona (Bert) White of Lexington; grandchildren, Melvin Robinson, Cindy (Michael) Washington, Earl Raglin, Jr., Camryn Mays, Indya Mays, Alexis Jones, Josh Whitaker, all of Lexington, Tiffany Hamilton of Louisville, Anthony Smith, Jr., and Donte’ Smith both of Atlanta, GA, Marshall Mays, Martaveous Mays, Mikeara Washington, and Chandra White, all of Lexington; Nieces and nephews, Darnell Freeman, Johnny Freeman, Linda Freeman, Cassandra Freeman, and Bruce Freeman; and special friends, Barbara Brown, Jean McKelvey, and Tina Clark. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Beatrice Freeman; and a daughter, Janice Marie Robinson. Funeral services will be 12:30 pm Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be 10:30-12:30 Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
