Mitchell Ray Chenault, Jr.

Mitchell Ray Chenault, Jr., known to his family as Mitchie or Bubby, passed away on Monday December 20, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington, KY. He was born on July 6, 1978 to Mitchell Ray Chenault, Sr. and Margaret Frazier Chenault.
He worked at Johnson Control/Adient for almost 19 years. Mitchell enjoyed fishing, cooking and music. He played football and basketball for the YMCA, he also played little league baseball at Garrard Park, where he played to the Pirates and they went undefeated for two years in a row and he later played high school baseball.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by two sisters, Michelle Chenault and Markisha Chenault both of Paris, KY; three nieces, Bryyonna Chenault, Reon Chenault and Z’Khariya Champs; three great nieces, Aleia, Jaiona and Aundraya; one nephew, Dahntaye Champs; one great nephew, JaMari; aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Joyce Chenault of Paris, KY, Michael and LaJava Chenault of Lexington, KY; Katherine Parker of Paris, KY, Joyce Nichols, Pam Landrum and Gwendolyn Young, Daphne and Carl Lewis all of Georgetown, KY and William J. Radford of Virginia; host of cousins including, Latonya Ryan, Kimberly Goode, Kristen Christopher, Jaddah Cunningham, Timothy Chenault, Kevin Chenault, Rev. Damien Nichols, Shannon Nichols, Corneil Allen, Matrista Allen, Harry Nichols, Shantell Givens, Thomas Nichols, Kiona McIntyre, Marcus McIntyre, Shane Nichols and Darris Nichols and a host of extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Dennis Chenault, Irene Chenault, Edna Nichols, William Nichols, George Frazier and Corneil Frazier and great niece, Jhaniya Mahan; cousins, Ronnie Chenault, Jr. and Michael Chenault, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday December 23, 2021 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Damien Nichols and Rev. Tony Gooch. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday December 23, 2021 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Oliver, Charles Oliver, Shawn Ransom, Frazier Oldham, Kenny Walker and Jody Pope.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Chenault, Timmy Chenault, Harry Nichols, Thomas Nichols, Shane Nichols, Darris Nichols, Marcus McIntyre and Corneil Allen.
