Palema Moses Obituary

Pam Moses, originally born and raised in Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 74 on Thursday, 25 June 2020.

She had been living in a nursing facility in Round Rock, Texas at the time of her passing.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula, and her son, John, as well as two sisters and their families: Sylvia Shipman and Val Penick.

She lived with fervor, strength and on her terms to the end. Prior to retiring from the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, one of her passions was volunteering and supporting community efforts to prepare for disasters (natural and man-made). She was a fighter and yet was known fondly by many who knew her to always have a smile on her face. Pam loved to walk and the last several years that ability became impossible along with not being able to speak. She is now walking and talking with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, family members and friends who have gone before her, as well as the Hosts and Angels of Heaven. She will be missed here on earth, but family and friends celebrate her passing as freedom for her to return to a limitless future in the presence and praise of the Lord rather than be constricted in a body that was failing her.

She touched so many lives and so many impacted her over the many years Earth was her home address. You will be missed but not forgotten! Enjoy your home address for eternity! “Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.” (2 Corinthians 5: 6 – 9, Oxford NIV Scofield Study Bible)
