Obituary

Rosella Catherine Skinner Hayes, 69, of Paris, died Tuesday November 1, 2011 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1942 in Cynthiana, KY to the late Vivian Flora Skinner Clifford and the late Gilbert V. Skinner, Sr.

Rosella is survived by her husband of 42 years, Billy Hayes; one son, James McClanahan of Paris; one sister, Mary Lou Skinner (Frank) Bishop of Cynthiana; four brothers, Gilbert (Gracie) Skinner, Jr. of Lexington, Lowell (Mary Sue) Clifford and Jeffrey (Laura) Clifford both of Cynthiana and David (Cheryl) Clifford of Frankfort. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Martin Clifford; two brothers, Thomas (Betty) Clifford and Jerry (Denise) Clifford both of Cynthiana.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday November 4, 2011 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Bishop, David Clifford, Jeffrey Clifford, Lowell Clifford, Jack Plummer and Gilbert Skinner.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah-s Witnesses 2101 Rocky Dr. Paris, KY 40361.

The family would also like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the University of Kentucky Medical Center for their great care and kindness that was given.
