A TIME TO BE BORN...
Mr. Terry Thurman was born on October 19, 1961 to the late Kurney R. and Ruby Garr Thurman. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents: Kurney and Ruby Garr Thurman, his brothers and sisters: Barry, Billy, Bobby, Paul, Paulette, Mary Katherine (Paul) Woolridge, Anita Carol (William) Walker and Clarence Darnell Thurman.
A TIME TO WORSHIP...
Terry accepted Christ at an early age at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington under the pastorate of the late Rev. Horace R. Smith, Sr. Terry loved the Lord.
A TIME TO LOVE...
Terry will be sorely missed for his humor, kindness, loyalty and love by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends. We are truly blessed and thankful to God for the love and the time that we were allowed to share.
A TIME TO CHERISH...
The memory of Mr. Terry Thurman will remain forever cherished in the lives of his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory and lament his passing, his beloved children in Lexington, (Lashonda Hill, Jeremiah Hill, Wendell Hill), his six adoring grandchildren (Mysavior Riggs, Joshua Riggs, My’kila King, Jae’Quan Roberts, Trayvion Hill, Kenneth Hill); his loving and devoted sister: Teresa Thurman Parks, Lexington, Ky.; two loving brothers: Robert (Betty) Thurman, Charlotte, North Carolina and Leroy (Hinda "Ann") Thurman, Lexington, Ky.; two special uncles: Floyd Garr, Sr. and Cleveland Clark, Sr., both of Lexington, Ky.; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
